  1. wow 😀 another fine piece Auntiji my favourite lines being: meera si bhatakti rooh, awaaj-e-baansuri kahaa hai
its good to see how you gave a spiritual touch to the poem!

    here’s one for you:

    KHOJI MAI

    Goonjati dasho disho me
    awaaj meri hi
    paheli si,
    kyo mehak na milti mujhe
    meri hi
    kastoori si
    paani me ghule rang sa
    kyo feeka
    na dikha

    mai khoju taazgee
    har nawjaat sawere me,
    ya kaali raat-
    deewar ko laanghey jo
    us paar saje chaand-sitaaro me
    thirakta surkhaab koi
    mai khoju
    mai khoju

    khoju kyu nafrat diwaaro me
    paudhe dikhey daraaro me

    kuch himmat kuch taab liye
    ludaktey bhaagte sooraj me
    taaqat koi
    mai khoju
    mai khoju

    har aur bikhri raaho me
    apni koi raah dikhe
    sab taabish reh jaaye parey
    Tohafa-e-tabbassum khile 😀
